Bridge of Hearts is a volunteer-led, community-focused, non-profit organization that operates without national affiliations, relying solely on local generosity for financial support.

Who We Help

We are dedicated to supporting homeless and impoverished children across the greater Lake Norman region. Each year we support thousands of students from pre-K through 12th grade in our communities.

What We Do

Our nonprofit is unique, filling a vital gap in our community by both celebrating and caring for children in need. We bring joy through personalized birthday gifts, party supplies, and engaging books, ensuring every child feels special on their big day. At the same time, we provide essential support with healthy snacks and hygiene kits.

Each birthday bag is thoughtfully curated with requested gifts and beautifully wrapped to create a moment of joy. We also provide full-size hygiene items whenever schools request them, ensuring children have the essentials they need. Our dedicated volunteers contribute hundreds of hours each month, while our board of local leaders ensures our programs adapt to the evolving needs of the children we serve.
